Twelve pounds to date! I'm still losing the weight, and I can't believe it. I'm actually back to my weight two years ago. Anyway, what's working for me (for those who also want to lose some of those pounds) again is swimming about 1hr and 20 mins, three times a week. I'm not talking about doing two laps and then resting and chatting about for 5 minutes. I'm talking about timing myself and keeping a pace to keep the heart rate up. Aerobic exercise works to help you lose weight only if you get your heart rate up to a certain level.
Food-wise, I have cut down junk food and sweets significantly. I used to always have a stash of chips and boxes of Duncan Hines brownie and cake mixes. Don't get me wrong, I still give in to these guilty pleasures once in a while. I still want my food flavorful and plentiful. I just learned how to eat in portions that I actually need. I realize that in the past, I overate everyday. I just keep myself in check nowadays, but I still enjoy my lardy meals.
I'm facing a dilemma, however. Do I lose more weight when I've given up my thinner-me clothes? I guess I'm just going to have to work on my modista skills.

Weight Loss Log No. 5
Ten pounds to date! I still can't believe it. I'm down a dress size. Now I can be greedy and wish to lose about 5 more.
